Auto-Graphics adds new SHAREit product managers for technical services and customer services.
Auto-Graphics, Inc., the Industry-leading and first Web-based library resource management solutions provider, is excited to announce the expansion of SHAREit product management due to continued expansion and growth of its open platform- based resource sharing solution, SHAREit. SHAREit is built on library standards such as Z39.50, SIP2, NCIP, and ISO ILL, ensuring SHAREit interoperates with pre-existing library software, no matter what vendor ILS is in place, unlike other resource sharing products.
“Auto-Graphics was the first library software vendor to use the Internet for ILL communication in 1994, a Pioneer in SaaS library automation, and the first library software vendor to launch a cloud-based resource-sharing management software solution in 2000,” states Paul Cope, President of Auto-Graphics. “With 14 states representing almost 6,000 connected libraries utilizing the hybrid SHAREit solution, Auto-Graphics continues to be the undisputed leader in the library resource sharing category, enabling public, K-12, academic, special, and correctional libraries to share materials. Due to this steady growth based on our product development strategies, I would like to welcome the newest additions to the SHAREit product team, Alexandra Winzeler and Debbie Hensler.”
As Auto-Graphics’ SHAREit Product Manager for Customer Services, Debbie will be leading the SHAREit user group and work on training materials. Debbie’s background as a Technical Services Librarian, Library Systems Specialist, and most recently as the HSLC SHAREit Trainer for the State of Pennsylvania has prepared her well to step into her new role. As a skillful systems trainer, presenter, and technical writer, Debbie has conducted SHAREit/ACCESSPA training for HSLC statewide services (ILS, ILL, and databases) via in-person and webinar formats for staff at over 2500 public, academic, school and special libraries. Adept at developing procedural training materials including course outlines, exercises, videos, and self-paced courses, Debbie is experienced with facilitating user group meetings, updating users on system changes, new procedures, and providing best practices. Debbie holds a B. S., summa cum laude, in Library and Information Technology from the University of Maine at Augusta and has kept her skills current, having taken many library industry continuing education and upper division classes.
As Auto-Graphics’ SHAREit Product Manager for Technical Services, Alexandra will work with SHAREit user stories and product development. Alexandra is a Library and Information Science professional who has worked at a variety of historic and cultural institutions such as the Boston Athenaeum, Harvard Fine Arts Library, and the William Morris Hunt Memorial Library at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Most recently she was the Member Services Manager at the Fenway Libraries Online consortia office and the Project Manager for the Commonwealth Catalog, Massachusetts statewide ILL system (which uses SHAREit). In those positions, she provided documentation and training in addition to collaborating with colleagues and vendors to evaluate, troubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of software services issues. Alexandra earned her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College and Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, in affiliation with Tufts University.
“I am pleased to welcome two such highly qualified library-industry professionals to our team,” states Albert Flores, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Auto-Graphics. “Our continued expansion throughout North America demonstrates the demand for SHAREit, our open-systems based resource sharing solution.”
